God is the Creator of all things. This is not a religious proposition, but a scientific one. God’s ways and His work are unique. God is a brand name.® In 2013, I was given face time with God, below are some of the things that I learned.
God is a psychological being, who is not part of the material world. God is Energy. If you can understand the principle of the conservation of energy, then you can understand why God was not created, nor can He be destroyed. Conservation of Energy is “a principle stating that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can be altered from one form to another.” (Google Dictionary.)
In His own words, God defines Himself as self-existing Supreme Genius Mind.
God has empathic abilities. He can comprehend anyone’s emotions and know the motives of their heart. He can literally stand in a person’s shoes and know exactly how they are feeling and experience life from their perspective in real-time. This capability is not limited to humans. God can swim in the ocean in the form of a whale and comprehend the whales experience as well.
God’s empathic abilities are reciprocal. God can also project His emotions onto us in varying degrees. He can become ‘one’ with us, allowing us to see life through His eyes if He desires. When God is one with us, we cannot distinguish His feelings from our own because His feelings ARE our own.
God has the ability to take on the form of whatever or whomever He chooses. He has the ability to change bodies as easy as we change clothes, which is one reason you should not snub a dirty beggar on the street-he could be God.
God exists outside of time, but He can and does enter the temporal realm and participate in the material world whenever He likes. What is it like to enter time?
For God, its like going to a Broadway show and becoming one of the actors on the stage of His own play, though God is and can do so much more.
It is like selecting a frame or entering a motion picture. It can be likened to pressing fast forward, rewind and pause on a remote control. God can traverse forward and backward through time; like a computer programmer who writes a do while loop and traverses an array. God is the Beginning and the End; the Alpha and the Omega; the First and the Last.
Since God is not part of the material world, by definition God is an Extraterrestrial Being. Extraterrestrial refers to any object or being beyond (extra) the planet Earth (terrestrial).
God is a living being just like you and me. He has thoughts and feelings just like you and me, in fact we were made in His image, and all our attributes are inherited from Him.
It is difficult to accurately describe God using human language. God can best be described using computer language; so, I am going to use concepts taken from object-oriented design in the discipline of software engineering to describe God. I will start with us.
We were made in God’s image. As you know humans have many attributes. We inherit our attributes from God. God is our Father.
God can best be understood as the Parent Object in a system of interacting objects. In this system of interacting objects, humans are child objects existing IN the Parent Object.
“’For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” (Acts 17:28 NIV). “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12 ESV).
This system of interacting objects is what we perceive as our universe. God is the Source of all things in our universe.
One of our attributes (or properties) is our presence. It can be said that when we are in a room, people can either feel or not feel our presence. The same is true for God, except God is far more advanced than us. God’s Presence is a life form unto itself. God’s Presence can travel separate and apart from God, and God can give His Presence instructions to go where He wants it to go, separate and apart from Him.
“And He [God] said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’ Then he [Moses] said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here’” (Exodus 33:14-15).
Can you imagine telling your presence to go somewhere separate and apart from you, while you are still sitting at home? Or can you imagine one of your attributes, with a mind of its own, deciding it is not going to listen to you anymore and it goes out and gets involved in mischief. What if for example your temper decides it is not going to listen to you anymore, in other words you lose control of your temper, and it kills someone? An alibi that you were home while your temper was out committing a crime would be valid, if your attributes acted separate and apart from you. This is a real capability for God. God’s wrath is like our temper, He can send it to deal with His enemies, while He is doing something else.
So, all of God’s attributes are separate life forms in their own rights. God’s Word, God’s Wrath, and God’s Presence are three of God’s attributes that can exist separate from God, yet their existence is IN God, in the same manner that your word, temper, and presence are IN you. This is how God is everywhere at once, because everything exists in God, including you and me. You can think of God as a human body, and you and I are mere cells in that body, a body that contains millions upon millions of cells.
So, to summarize, God has attributes, like we have attributes, except God is more advanced when it comes to managing His attributes. Attributes of God (i.e. Word, Wrath, Presence, etc.) have properties and attributes of their own which enable them to operate separately from God, though they exist in God and require God for existence. So now you have the foundation necessary to understand that Jesus is God.
